Davallia Primary School – 2018 Interschool Cross Country Champions!

Woo Hoo!!!!

Not once, not twice, but three years in a row!

Congratulations to our Interschool Cross Country team who did an amazing job to keep the shield at Davallia PS for yet another year!

Special thanks Mrs Trenna Lewington, Mrs Di Cadby, Mrs Denise Lynch, Mr Brad Westcott and Mr Greg Perry who helped support our team to victory.

Our school values were once again on display with our team showing great perseverance in their races, our student body showing great respect to all our visitors to school and our Year 5 and Yr 6 course marshals, who showed great responsibility whilst out on the course.

A fantastic team effort and an awesome team result!

Well done and congratulations to everyone, and thank you to the school community who came out to support our team.

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data for School Students with Disability

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data for School Students with Disability.

All schools in Australia, including Independent and Catholic schools, will participate in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) on School Students with Disability every year.

The Data Collection is an annual count of the number of students with disability receiving educational adjustments to support their participation in education on the same basis as students without disability.

All education agencies are now required under the Australian Education Regulation 2013, to provide information on a student’s level of education, disability and level of adjustment to the Australian Government Department of Education.

Data will continue to be de-identified prior to its transfer and no student’s identity will be provided to the Australian Government Department of Education. The collection of this information from states and territories will inform future policy and program planning in relation to students with disability.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Denise Lynch, Associate Principal, at denise.lynch@education.wa.edu.au or the Western Australian Department of Education Disability Services and Support on 9402 6477.
