Voluntary contributions are amounts paid to the school to support the education program of the school.
For Kindergarten – Year 6 students the current rate is $60 per student. These funds, as stated in the Education Act, are used directly for the benefits of students. For this reason, our School Board and our P&C encourage families to forward their contributions early in the year to ensure students receive the full benefits of these funds.
A statement will be forwarded home in Week 4 or 5 of Term 1 each year. Although cash and cheque payments can be made, it is preferable school charges and contributions are paid via electronic banking or as part of the school stationary requirements process through Campion Education. Please be aware the school does not have EFTPOS or Credit Card facilities.
A breakdown of estimated charges for your child’s participation in excursions and activities throughout the year is outlined in the Contributions and Charges schedule. Maximum costs for the school year are identified, with some items (for example, school photos) optional components.
Annually the Board approves all voluntary contributions and charges for the coming school year.
